Car Driving Directions from Malaga Airport

On first leaving Malaga Airport you initially get into the right-hand lane for Malaga, then after negotiating a roundabout, you will find yourself on a dual carriageway: after about 250 yards, look for a sliproad off to the right which is signposted "Algeciras".
Take this turning and you will be on a dual carriageway towards Torremolinos, etc. Stay on this road for about 3kms and you will see a further slip road on the right marked "Algeciras"; once again. Take this and you will find yourself on the main road to Algeciras for about 12 miles (19 kms); look out for a truning on the right for Mijas and Benalmadena: although you could take this, it is a difficult road and we recommend that you go off at the next exit marked Mijas and Fuengirola. Turn right here and drive up the twisting road to Mijas. On reaching the BP garage on the left, you will be at the Mijas roundabouts. Turn left at the first roundabout and right at the second following the Coin road sign and turn down the one way stretch to the pueblo car park. Entering the pueblo here is easier when handling heavy suitcases as access is via a sloped walkway.
Alternatively, turn into the Mijas Centre road and get as close as possible to the Fiesta Bar, from there you can go up the stairs in to the pueblo.
